Rusty Neill - Treasurer
James ‘Rusty” Neill is the current President and CEO of Macon-Atlanta State Bank. He has been with Macon-Atlanta State Bank since 1994.
Rusty is originally from Shelbina, where he graduated from South Shelby High School. He received his degree in business administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1990. He is a graduate of the Missouri Bankers’ Association School of Banking and the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Banking.
Rusty is an active member of the First Baptist Church in Macon and is regularly involved with many trade and community organizations. He is currently on the Macon County Economic Development Board, the Community Child Development Center Board and has been on the Samaritan Hospital Board since 2007. Rusty is also an active member of the Macon County Rotary Club.
In his spare time, Rusty enjoys sports, boating and spending time with his family. He resides in Macon with his wife Jill and son, Cooper, daughter, Whitney, and daughter, Isabella.
