Macon, MO—The MFA Oil Foundation has awarded a grant to Samaritan Hospital to assist in the purchasing of a LUCAS 3 Chest Compression System. The automated system will be used in the Emergency Department to reduce medical staff fatigue when performing CPR. Emma Burmeister, RN and Susan Leathers, ER Director were instrumental in Samaritan Hospital obtaining this grant.
