Laboratory Services

The Samaritan Hospital laboratory services encompass emergency service, inpatient, and outpatient needs. All disciplines of laboratory medicine are included such as Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Blood Transfusion, Serology, Microbiology, and Anatomical Pathology.

Glucose Tolerance Tests and Semen Analysis are not available on weekends.

For patients who need to come after 4:30pm, if you do not have a copy of the order, we suggest you call the Laboratory to verify your orders have been received.  Unfortunately, we cannot contact physicians for clarification outside of regular business hours.
