The Pharmacy department at Samaritan Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care through medication management.

The Pharmacy department is staffed with a licensed Registered Pharmacist.   Our computerized Pyxis system ensures that medications are accurately and safely dispensed throughout the hospital. Automated dispensing cabinets are available in patient care areas to provide timely access to medications. Bar-coding technology is also utilized by Samaritan Hospital staff. The Pharmacy department prepares inpatient and outpatient IV medications.
