Speech Therapy

Though all areas of specialty offered by Samaritan Hospital are truly crucial in the ability to serve our community and provide the most and highest-quality resources possible, we are very pleased to offer Speech Therapy as one of many in a plethora of services.

Speech therapists evaluate, treat, providing counseling and education to the patient and family for any speech, language, cognitive or swallowing disorder. We work closely with physicians, nurses and family to provide services for disorders attained as a result of illness, aging or disability. These may include: stroke, Parkinsons Diease, Alzheimers, Dementia, head injury and difficulty swallowing due to a variety of causes ie; neurological, cancer or neck injuries.
