Emergency Department

The Emergency Department of Samaritan Hospital is dedicated to providing excellence in patient care during times of stress and urgency. Our emergency room is staffed with at least one physician, a supportive group of nurses and technicians 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Our highly-skilled physicians are trained providers of ATLS (Advanced Trauma Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) and PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Nursing staff and technicians are TNCC (Trauma Nurse Certified), ACLS and PALS trained. Technicians are all trained to National Registry Standards.

Samaritan Hospital serves an average of 5,500 patients each year. We also coordinate with Air Evac, Staff of Life and Lifeflight Eagle for flight services for critical patients needing procedures or services that are above the capabilities of Samaritan Hospital.
